At The Precious Metals Summit Beaver Creek, we sat down with Daniel Henao, President and CEO of Mineros S.A. (TSX: MSA), to discuss the established Latin American gold producer that remains largely unknown to North American investors.
Daniel explains how the 52-year-old company increased its share price from approximately $0.60 to $10, assembled a portfolio containing roughly 30 million gold ounces, and raised its 2026 production guidance to as much as 240,000 ounces. Mineros is targeting approximately 300,000 ounces next year and 500,000 ounces annually by 2030.
We also examine the acquisition of AngloGold Ashanti’s Tolima project, historically known as La Colosa. The project contains a historical estimate of approximately 28 million gold ounces. Mineros paid $10 million upfront, with up to another $60 million contingent on approved permits and authorized mineral tonnage. mineros.com.co
Daniel discusses how Mineros plans to use its five decades of experience in Colombia and its relationships with local communities to address the project’s biggest historical obstacle. He also details the company’s record first-half revenue of approximately $559 million, adjusted EBITDA of $260 million, and continued growth across Colombia, Nicaragua, and Chile.
