Bruce Campbell Proclaims CloudMD One of His Top Picks
Today Bruce Campbell told BNNBloomberg CloudMD (CSE: DOC) is one of his top picks. The small cap portfolio manager was on Market Call talking about how to navigate the junior markets given the current COVID-19 pandemic. He notes CloudMD recently hit their stride providing digital delivery of healthcare to patients via their smartphone or computer. An online service badly needed with social distancing measures put in place across the country.
And of course, being a client of the Deep Dive, we can’t disagree with Bruce’s onions. The company is benefiting from the current pandemic as patients look to connect with doctors’ offices remotely. And giving the company further tailwinds, provinces have opened up billing codes allowing doctors to be reimbursed for these digital appointments.
Recently Bruce’s track record has been a little rough with cannabis picks such as Meta Growth and ICC International. Getting back to his roots of backing great small cap stories, we feel Bruce is now on the right track to reclaiming his spot as the Number One Bruce Campbell covering small caps on BNNBloomberg.
He also likes Viemed Healthcare (VMD: TSXV) who provides non-invasive ventilators for patients released from hospitals and Lightspeed POS (LSPD: TSX) a cloud-based provider of point-of-sale solutions to retail and hospitality.
CloudMD’s stock has been on a roll of late going from 40c to a high of 70c today.
