Collective Mining (TSX: CNL) has released another round of assay results from its 2026 drill program at the Guayabales project in Colombia, led by a hole that pushed the Apollo breccia 170 vertical metres below any previous drilling on the system’s northern flank, while also extending mineralization 100 metres to the north.
Highlights from the results include:
- APC172-D2: 4.88 g/t gold equivalent over 141.40 metres from a depth of 924 metres,
- Including 15.46 g/t gold equivalent over 38.00 metres
- APC172-D1: 1.06 g/t gold equivalent over 97.15 metres from a depth of 929 metres
- APC-172D: 4.39 g/t gold equivalent over 13.00 metres from a depth of 786 metres
- APC160-D3: 2.13 g/t gold equivalent over 171.65 metres from a depth of 575 metres,
- Including 4.98 g/t gold equivalent over 44.90 metres
- APC160-D4: 2.06 g/t gold equivalent over 83.00 metres from a depth of 528 metres
Both of the deep holes APC172-D1 and APC172-D2 were drilled from a single mother hole. Geologists logged 31 instances of visible gold in APC172-D2, and the mineralization it cut remains open to the east, west and at depth.
“The Apollo system once again awarded us with yet another positive surprise,” said executive chairman Ari Sussman. “APC172-D2 delivered an exceptional high-grade interval at approximately 1,000 meters below surface while significantly extending the system both northward and vertically.”

A follow-up hole, APC180-D1, cut roughly 100 metres of prospective visual mineralization 100 metres west of APC172-D2, with assays pending.
The other seven holes tested the Apollo breccia on infill spacing, with mixed results. An exploratory hole, APC160-D6, returned nothing of significance, and APC161-D1A was abandoned after a mechanical failure before reaching its target.
Collective is running 13 diamond drill rigs across Guayabales and has completed roughly 188,000 metres on the property, 124,000 of it at Apollo. The 2026 program calls for up to 90,000 metres, funded from US$93.7 million in cash held at the end of June.
An initial mineral resource estimate for Apollo is expected this month.
