DraftKings Brings Mobile Sportsbook To Arizona

DraftKings Inc. (Nasdaq: DKNG) launched today its Sportsbook app in the state of Arizona. The Grand Canyon state becomes the 14th US territory where the mobile sportsbook is available.

“With the launch of our digital sportsbook coinciding with NFL kickoff, the busiest and most exciting time of the year for our company, we could not have imagined a better time to introduce Arizona’s sports fans to the DraftKings experience,” said DraftKings North America President Matt Kalish.

Although no specifics have been provided, the online gaming platform thanked “PGA TOUR, TPC Scottsdale, as well as [Arizona] Governor Doug Ducey and his team, [State] Representative Jeff Weninger, [State] Senator T.J. Shope, the Arizona state legislature, and the Arizona Department of Gaming” for the launch of the mobile sportsbook in the state.

The Sportsbook app allows users to place wagers on a variety of betting markets across professional, collegiate, and other sports leagues.

DraftKings last traded at US$63.39 on the Nasdaq.
