Elon Musk vs. Anthony Fauci: Twitter CEO Teases New Release of ‘Fauci Files’

Elon Musk is not shy about expressing his discontent with the face of the US pandemic response, Dr. Anthony Fauci. On Sunday, the Twitter CEO teased about releasing another batch of what have become his infamous “Twitter Files,” this time focusing on Fauci’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic under the Trump and Biden administrations.

In a twitter post on Sunday, Musk wished his followers a happy New Year, assuring them 2023 “won’t be boring,” to which one twitter user said they’re still “waiting for #FauciFiles,” with Musk responding: “Later this week.” The Tesla CEO has been a longtime critic of the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director, going as far as to imply the doctor should face prosecution for supposedly lying under oath when questioned about funding gain-of-function research at China’s Wuhan lab.

The White House, for its part, denounced Musk’s earlier comments, calling his tweet “disgusting” and “divorced from reality,” and insisted that the doctor’s dedication to infectious diseases— including Covid-19 and HIV/AIDS— “has saved countless lives.”

When Fauci faced questioning by Republican lawmakers back in May 2021 on the issue of funding the Wuhan lab, the doctor defended the NIAID and the National Institute of Health, “categorically” rejecting ever funnelling money towards such research. However, according to documents published by The Intercept in September, the two institutions did, in fact, provide funding to nonprofit organization EcoHealth Alliance, which in turn directed investments towards experimenting with bat coronaviruses in Wuhan, the city where Covid-19 was first detected.

Following his $44 billion purchase of Twitter, Musk focused on exposing numerous internal Twitter documents dubbed the “Twitter Files,” which shed light on the social media platform’s previous censorship attempts. Among them was Twitter’s alleged pursuit at suppressing information hindering President Joe Biden’s election campaign, as well as collusion with the FBI to delete information the White House saw as damaging.

  1. Trash writing, trash website. Elon Musk is the son of a slaver who got rich forcing Africans to work in his mines. That slaver also fathered two kids with a girl he adopted at 4 years old. Might be where lil Elon gets his twisted world view. EVERYTHING he is doing is to protect pedophiles like his dad and the wealth and power of families who made their fortunes on the backs of slaves. THAT is evil. A doctor doing his actual job for 50 years (without having to take a golf vacation every 3 days like Trump did) is just really refreshing.

  2. Fauci should be held accountable for the countless deaths and the complete mis-information spanning 50 years. He is Evil! And very rich I should add.
