Eloro Resources Drills 151 g/t Silver Over 135 Metres At Iska Iska

Eloro Resources (TSX: ELO) has continued to intersect long intervals of silver mineralization at its Iska Iska silver-tin polymetallic project in southwestern Bolivia.

The latest results come from definition drilling, focused on the Santa Barbara pit area, which is said to have the potential of being a starter pit for the project.

Highlights from the results include:

  • DSB-75: 90.92 g/t silver over 309 metres from a depth of 174.0 metres
    • Including 151.47 g/t silver over 135 metres from a depth of 174.0 metres
    • Including 440.09 g/t silver over 34.50 metres from a depth of 274.50 metres
    • Including 962.23 g/t silver over 9.75 metres from a depth of 276.00 metres

Hold DSB-75 is said to have encountered the highest grade intersect of silver at the Iska Iska project to date from drilling. The hole was collared 200 metres to the northwest of hole DSB-68, which encountered 126.10 g/t silver over 122.03 metres.

5,799 metres of definition drilling have been completed across 11 holes to date under the current program. Eloro has stated that the program has identified that the density of high grade silver values above 50 g/t silver has increased significantly at the deposit, and that areas of formerly barren or low grade mineralization in reality bear grades that are higher and in widths that are longer than the current resource model suggests.

“It is imperative that the company move forward quickly with more infill and step out diamond drilling initiatives in these newly defined high grade metal zones both in the tin domain and the silver polymetallic domain. These results should add greatly to the potential economic value in the next phase PEA study.” commented Eloro Resources CEO Tom Larsen.

Eloro Resources last traded at $0.86 on the TSX.
