Exploits Discovery Commences 13,500 Line-Kilometre Survey

Exploits Discovery (CSE: NFLD) has already begun its 2021 field program at its Great Bend, True Grit and Middle Ridge Gold properties. The company this morning announced that it has commenced a 13,500 line kilometre airborne magnetic and VTEM survey as of today, which is to cover 1,155 square kilometres.

The survey work will see lines flown at 100 metre spacing, which will provide high resolution magnetic and electromagnetic data to assist in finding deep-seated structures hosting orogenic gold. The data is then to be uploaded daily for GoldSpot’s AI team, whom will be able to generate targets in real time.

The survey being conducted will target a number of fault lines in the region that are contained within the Exploits subzone, including:

  • 19 kilometres of the Appleton Fault
  • 19 kilometres of the Dog Bay Line
  • 21 kilometres of the JBP line
  • 80 kilometres of the GRUB line, including the True Grit Gold showing

Once completed, the company has indicated that it intends to incorporate the data with historic drilling, and new soil and prospecting surveys to identify new drill targets within areas of known gold mineralization. The survey results are to effectively drive the next phase of exploration on the firms properties.

“Our partners at GoldSpot were instrumental in generating the targets that led to New Found Gold’s discovery through use of high-resolution airborne geophysics. We are excited to use this newly acquired data with their knowledge to generate quality targets on our properties in the Exploits Subzone, and advance us further towards drilling. Exploits is committed to developing strong drill targets for the Spring 2021 season.”

Michael Collins, President & CEO of Exploits Discovery
