If there’s anything that companies should’ve already learned from Elon Musk, it’s that you probably shouldn’t tell your customers to go f*ck themselves.
After all the criticism that Musk and his companies have faced since his recent tirades, it’s hard to picture what kind of outcome FabFitFun, the beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness subscription service, envisioned for their most recent marketing campaign.
The campaign in question pledged $100,000 of X advertising “in support of its free speech ideals” and invited potential new subscribers to sign up and get a $300+ gift if they use the code “GoFuckYourself.”
The result: well, subscribers flipped it on the brand.
Yikes, what a weird fucking way to self-destruct 😳

Hey FabFitFun, how about you GoFuckYourself pic.twitter.com/ScPpg5rYAP
People have also begun outing the company’s owners for being Trumpers.
Just in case anybody thinks of trying FabFitFun, the owners are right-wing Trumpers who are enamoured with Elon & snarl "woke" under their breath.

Their subscription box is full of cheaply-made collabs & skincare that they're not even authorized to sell.

No official numbers have been reported but a quick search on X will show that a lot of people are canceling their subscriptions. Many of them saying “ew.”
After seeing @FabFitFun advertisement I am canceling my years long subscription. The items are getting worse with each box and today I learned the owners are Elon musk Stans. Ew.

FFF has yet to comment on the backlash, but they have since deleted the campaign from the platform.
