Golden Cariboo Hits 452 Metres Of 0.30 g/t Gold

Golden Cariboo Resources (CSE: GCC) has again intersected long widths of gold mineralization at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in the Cariboo district of British Columbia.
The latest drill results come from the Halo zone, with results coming from the second drill hole in the current phase of drilling. Highlights from the results include:
- QGQ24-17: 0.30 g/t gold over 452.51 metres from a depth of 10.97 metres
- Including 1.01 g/t gold over 27.32 metres
- And including 1.00 g/t gold over 51.26 metres
The hole, designed to test the northwest-trending mineralized hole, has extended the Halo Zone by 241 metres to the North. While the mineralized zone is now estimated to be 286 metres wide, QCQ24-17 was terminated due to the proximity to a claim boundary with Osisko Development, meaning its unclear how far the zone actually extends.

Further drill holes have subsequently completed that test the Halo zone to the north and northwest, with results currently pending. Those holes are said to have intersected broad and continuous zones of quartz-carbonate veining, with portions of the core hosting visible gold.
“To be met with a 452 m gold zone in our first step out from the Discovery is incredible. We’re dealing with a multi-kilometer gold system that is capable of producing zones of significant scale, located only a handful of kilometres from a community, rail and major highway. We have only scratched the surface of this property and of the Halo zone, which is soon to change with our aggressive drill program currently underway,” commented Frank Callaghan, CEO of Golden Cariboo.
