Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT) has released assays from five more holes at its Surebet discovery on the Golddigger property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, led by a high-grade intercept from the Golden Gate Zone.
Hole GD-26-478 returned 13.81 g/t gold over 4.85 metres in a volcanic-hosted interval carrying multiple occurrences of visible gold. Assays for other metals are pending.
Highlight results include:
- GD-26-478: 13.81 g/t gold over 4.85 metres from a depth of 237.00 metres
- Including 21.45 g/t gold over 3.09 metres from a depth of 238.76 metres
- GD-26-414: 10.26 g/t gold equivalent over 5.00 metres from a depth of 509.00 metres
- Including 18.30 g/t gold equivalent over 2.80 metres from a depth of 510.00 metres
- GD-26-426: 2.55 g/t gold equivalent over 23.50 metres from a depth of 272.00 metres
- Including 5.27 g/t gold equivalent over 9.85 metres from a depth of 279.50 metres
- GD-26-450: 3.06 g/t gold equivalent over 12.97 metres from a depth of 324.54 metres
- GD-26-439: 4.97 g/t gold equivalent over 2.95 metres from a depth of 204.55 metres
GD-26-414, first reported in August on a gold-only basis, sits within this year’s northeastern step-out at Golden Gate. GD-26-426 and GD-26-450 both cut the Surebet Zone, where breccia and stockwork veining hosted visible gold alongside galena, sphalerite and pyrrhotite.

Goliath also renamed the volcanic wedge zones, the lower-grade envelope linking the Bonanza and Golden Gate zones, as the Big Bulk Zones. Intervals there have run 10 to 58 metres grading 0.39 to 2.04 g/t gold equivalent, which the company says could suit low-cost bulk mining.
“Instead of getting near the edges of the system, it continues to expand,” said founder and CEO Roger Rosmus. He added that drilling at depth is still well above the valley floor, leading the company to believe the magmatic feeder zone or zones sit at or below it.
The 2026 program has completed 92 of 97 planned holes for 45,616 metres, with visible gold logged in 52 of them. Gold equivalent results for 88 more holes are pending.
The Surebet system footprint now covers 2.01 square kilometres, up 12% this season.
Goliath Resources last traded at $1.50 on the TSX Venture.
