Gran Colombia Drills 211.68 G/T Gold, 253.6 G/T Silver Over 0.33 Metres At Segovia

Gran Colombia Gold Corp. (TSX: GCM) shared this morning the drill results from 62 holes of the ongoing in-mine and near-mine drilling programs at its Segovia operations. Highlights of the results include an intercept of 211.68 g/t gold and 253.6 g/t silver over 0.33 metres.

Highlights of the drill results are:

  • PV-ES-008: 211.68 g/t gold and 253.6 g/t silver over 0.33 metres
  • CH-IU-030: 187.11 g/t gold and 242.2 g/t silver over 0.43 metres
  • SK-IU-175: 54.48 g/t gold and 99.7 g/t silver over 2.02 metres, including
    • 147.91 g/t gold and 194.8 g/t silver over 0.74 metres

The company also relayed the drill results from the 11 diamond drill holes out of the brownfield drilling programs on Vera and Marmajito veins. The results highlight an intercept of 123.65 g/t gold and 172.6 g/t silver over 0.93 metres.

Part of the results released by the company is the assays from 4 additional diamond drill holes from the ongoing directional drilling program at the El Silencio deep zone. The program has returned a highlight intercept of 20.91 g/t gold and 71.6 g/t silver over 3.72 metres, including 70.56 g/t gold and 289.5 g/t silver over 0.57 metres.

Gran Colombia is currently operating 7 diamond drill rigs in Segovia. By the end of May, approximately 33% of the in-mine and near-mine drilling program and 16% of the brownfield exploration drilling program for the year have been completed.
