Kontrol Energy Announces HVAC Integration For BioCloud, Product Demonstrations In UAE
Kontrol Energy Corp (CSE: KNR) this morning had a minor update in relation to its much-hyped BioCloud air detection system, with the company announcing that it will be shipping a single unit to the United Arab Emirates for field demonstrations. The product is expected to be shipped overseas at some point next week.
Once it arrives, the BioCloud unit will be used in demonstrations for roughly three weeks, dependent upon regional interest. The shipment to the foreign nation is a result of interest in the application of viral detection technology, however the company did not elaborate further in terms of whom the interested parties are.
The company also announced this morning that the device is being modified slightly to enable integration into heating, cooling and ventilation (HVAC) systems within buildings. The device will be modified to enable both modbus and bacnet protocols, which are essentially two communication languages for HVAC building controls, to enable integration within the HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings. The modification to the devices software essential enables it operate as a standalone device, or as an integrated device within an HVAC system.
Kontrol Energy Corp last traded at $3.35 on the CSE.
