Drills 14.07 g/t Gold Over 7.0 Metres at Goldlund As 35,000 Metre Program Nears Completion

NexGold Drills 14.07 g/t Gold Over 7.0 Metres at Goldlund As 35,000 Metre Program Nears Completion

NexGold Mining (TSXV: NEXG) has released a further set of assays from its Goldlund deposit, headlined by a single hole that returned three stacked, higher grade gold intervals across less than 50 metres of core.

The batch covers 3,603 metres of diamond drilling in 10 holes, GL-26-031 through GL-26-040, targeting Zone 4 at Goldlund. The deposit forms part of the company’s Goliath Gold Complex in northwestern Ontario, alongside the Goliath and Miller deposits.

Highlights include:

Selkirk Copper Mines — sponsored Sponsored · Selkirk Copper Mines
  • GL-26-034: 14.07 g/t gold over 7.0 metres from a depth of 187.0 metres
    • And 2.84 g/t gold over 13.0 metres from a depth of 205.0 metres
    • And 9.76 g/t gold over 8.0 metres from a depth of 170.0 metres
    • And 53.00 g/t gold over 1.0 metre from a depth of 74.0 metres
  • GL-26-032: 2.23 g/t gold over 15.5 metres from a depth of 123.5 metres
  • GL-26-033: 0.84 g/t gold over 42.8 metres from a depth of 245.7 metres
  • GL-26-039A: 1.51 g/t gold over 17.1 metres from a depth of 218.9 metres

Much of the grade in GL-26-034 comes from narrow high grade samples. The 14.07 g/t interval includes 95.70 g/t gold over 1.0 metre, while the 9.76 g/t interval includes 74.10 g/t gold over 1.0 metre. All grades are uncapped.

Reported intervals are core lengths. NexGold estimates true widths at 50% to 75% of those lengths, and at 25% to 50% for GL-26-033 because of its steeper drill angle.

“This program continues to demonstrate grade continuity at depth, but within reach of a potential open pit,” said Kevin Bullock, President and CEO of NexGold. “Grade tenor and thicknesses continue to build confidence that mineralization continues at depth and is consistent with previous drill results.”

Roughly 31,971 metres of the expanded 35,000 metre program have now been drilled, with the remainder expected to wrap up by the end of 2026. The company said the results will help refine its geological model for Zone 4 and may inform future mineral resource assessments.

The update follows the start of early works construction at NexGold’s Goldboro gold project in Nova Scotia last week.

NexGold Mining last traded at $1.63 on the TSX Venture.
