Patriot Battery Metals Hits 2.90% Li2O Over 34.4 Metres In High-Grade Discovery At CV13
Patriot Battery Metals (TSX: PMET) is reporting the discovery of a new high grade pegmatite zone at its CV13 pegmatite following a winter drill campaign focused on the region at the firms flagship Corvette property in Quebec.
“To put it mildly, the team is very excited about this new high-grade discovery at CV13, which is open in multiple directions and broadens our view on potential in the area significantly. [..] This discovery was made at the tail end of the program; however, we were able to follow-up with multiple additional holes prior to break-up,” commented VP of Exploration Darren L. Smith.
Highlights from the results include:
- CV24-470: 2.90% Li2O over 34.4 metres from a depth of 130.9 metres
- Including 3.58% Li2O over 21.9 metres from a depth of 143.5 metres

The new high-grade zone is said to have a near-horizontal orientation and remains open in multiple directions. Results are pending from multiple follow up holes conducted following the discovery, which are said to have intersected pegmatite rock over intercepts of 23 to 47 metres, which signifies a thickening of the pegmatite in the region.

The program as a whole was focused on supporting a maiden resource estimate for CV13, which is slated to be released in the third quarter of 2024. The now completed program saw 45 holes completed at CV13 via an aggregate 11,557 metres of drilling. Across all of Corvette, 166 holes were conducted over 62,518 metres in aggregate.
Patriot Battery Metals last traded at $7.31 on the TSX.
