Plurilock Security (TSXV: PLUR) continued its process of adding bench strength to its Industry Advisory Council this morning, appointing the Canadian head of a major electronics retailer to the team.

Ron Wilson, President of Best Buy Canada and a heavily experienced tech salesman, is the latest addition to the council. Wilson notably was responsible for merging the Future Shop brand with Best Buy in the early 2010’s, and is said to have been instrumental in the implementation of online ordering for the company.

“Ron Wilson is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of capitalizing on major industry shifts to achieve significant results. His extensive expertise in technology sales, marketing, and business operations will be invaluable to our team, along with his unique ability to achieve what others deem impossible—a quality we deeply appreciate at Plurilock,” commented Ian L. Paterson, CEO of Plurilock, on Wilson’s appointment.

Wilson is said to have over two decades of experience in senior leadership roles within the fields of merchandising, marketing, e-commerce and operations.

The appointment of Ron Wilson to the Industry Advisory Council follows the addition of Brian Aebig, an enterprise sales and supply chain and distribution expert, last month, as well as the appointments of former CrowdStrike director Joe Sexton and Palantir Senior Advisor Bryan Cunningham.

Plurilock Security last traded at $2.13 on the TSX Venture.
