PowerBand Expands Executive Team With Appointment Of Executive VP, Finance and Strategy
PowerBand Solutions (TSXV: PBX) is bolstering its management team for the new year evidently. Following yesterdays news of the appointment of a new chief financial officer, the firm this morning announced the appointment of Steve Waller as Executive Vice President of Finance and Strategy.
Waller comes to the company from that of D&P Solutions, where he worked as Vice President of Strategic Investments. As a result, he already understands the PowerBand operation intimately, given the close relationship D&P has fostered with that of PowerBand. He comes to the company with senior executive experience along with expertise in the automotive retail sector in addition to the banking and finance industry.
In terms of experience, Waller is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and funding over $10 billion in loans through some of the largest US Banks, along with consummating more than $5 billion in acquisitions and divestitures in both the US and internationally. Waller is also responsible for having lead mergers and acquisitions and managing real estate and vendor groups for Group 1 Automotive and Asbury Automotive.
