Today in lieu of a Daily Dive episode, we are instead launching a Deep Dive special on Swarmio Media (CSE: SWRM), featuring CEO Vijai Karthigesu. Recently, the company launched the Ember Gaming Platform, in partnership with one of the largest telecommunications firms in the Philippines. We had our video team travel to the launch event in Manila to capture the move by Swarmio to enter the esports sector within the country.
The launch with Globe Telecom was be conducted under the “Globe Gamer Grounds” banner and powered by Ember, Swarmio’s proprietary tech to bridge gaming with telco’s. The platform will enable Globe Telecom’s 85 million customers to compete in egaming events for a number of major titles, including Mobile Legends, League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, and more.
