The Age of (Legal) Coca – With Pat McCutcheon

Joining SmallCapSteve today is Pat McCutcheon, CEO and Chairman of Power Leaves Corp. Pat sits down with us today to talk about Power Leaves, which aims to be the first coca company in the industry to launch on the Nasdaq.

The company is a trailblazer, opening up a brand new sector by revolutionizing the coca-leaf extract within the food and beverage industry. In this interview, we discuss the company’s process, its offerings, and its plans for the near future. Pat previously founded MediPharm Labs, one of the early extraction-focused cannabis companies in the public markets that raised just under $200M and nearly reached a market cap of $1B.

Power Leaves is the first North American company dedicated to the commercialization of the coca leaf. The company has secured an exclusive, renewable, 15-year agreement to legally de-cocainize extract and process the coca leaf in Colombia, and has built extraction and testing facilities in Colombia and a corresponding supply chain to export its products to the United States, Europe and other large markets.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Power Leaves is a long investment of Canacom Group, the parent company of The Deep Dive. Not a recommendation to buy or sell. We may buy or sell securities in the company at any time. Always do additional research and consult a professional before purchasing a security.
