Vireo Health Sees Bruce Linton Drop Ownership To 8.5%

It seems that Bruce Linton is nearing the end of his holdings with that of Vireo Health (CSE: VREO). Linton filed an early warning report this morning, indicating that his holdings have yet again decreased, this time to below 10% ownership in the company.

In total, the early warning report indicates that Linton sold a total of 1.8 million shares of the issuer over a ten day period in April. At an average sale price of $2.56 per share, he reportedly brought in $4.6 million from the sale.

More significantly, the sale represented 2.6% of Linton’s holdings in the company, with the sale bringing his ownership below 10% of the issued and outstanding shares. While not stated explicitly in the report filed this morning, this effectively means that Linton no longer is required to declare his position within the company in terms of ownership. Following the sale, Bruce owns 6.2 million shares of Vireo, representing 8.5% of the issued and outstanding shares of the issuer.

Vireo Health last traded at $2.59 on the CSE.
