Artemis Gold (TSXV: ARTG) has finally seen a full quarter of production for their flagship Blackwater Mine in British Columbia. The company yesterday evening indicated that the mine produced 60,985 ounces of gold in the third quarter.
The third quarter saw an average throughput of 16,618 tonnes per day at the mill, representing 101% of design capacity. Recoveries meanwhile improved to 87% over the months of August and September.
Gold production has hit 95,809 ounces for what the company is referring to as the “post commercial production period,” being the five months ended September 30. Year to date gold production meanwhile has hit 124,328 ounces of gold, with the company on a path to achieve guidance of between 190,000 to 230,000 ounces of gold.
Production for the year continues to be weighted to the fourth quarter.
Full financial results are slated to be released November 4 after markets close.
