ATHA Energy Bolsters Business Development Team

ATHA Energy (CSE: SASK) has strengthened its business development team this morning with the addition of a new Senior Vice President.
Ryan Gaffney has been appointed to the role as of February 26, who comes to the company with extensive corporate finance experience within the resource sector. Gaffney most recently served as the CFO of Canadian Overseas Petroleum, prior to which he was non-executive director of Auroch Minerals.
Notably, Gaffney also spent close to a decade and a half at Canaccord Genuity, most recently serving as a Managing Director, and has experience in the areas of debt, equity, and M&A origination.

The appointment follows the company earlier this month adding significant uranium bench strength to its team, including the former Chief Geologist for Cameco’s Cigar Lake Uranium Mine, and a prior leader at NexGen Energy.
ATHA Energy last traded at $0.91 on the CSE.
