Brixton Metals (TSXV: BBB) has released assay results from 28 more holes drilled at its Langis silver project this summer, headlined by a 23.5 metre intercept in the Shaft 6 Southeast zone that carries a 4 metre core grading close to 2 kilograms of silver per tonne.
Hole LM-26-449 is the standout. It cut native silver in veins and veinlets alongside disseminated silver, and extends mineralization south into ground described as a brownfields discovery that was made this past July.
Highlights from the latest batch include:
- LM-26-449: 348 g/t silver over 23.50 metres from a depth of 203.00 metres
- Including 1,975 g/t silver over 4.00 metres from a depth of 215.00 metres
- Including 3,386 g/t silver over 2.00 metres from a depth of 215.50 metres
- LM-26-412: 667 g/t silver over 6.45 metres from a depth of 124.65 metres
- Including 1,339 g/t silver over 3.19 metres from a depth of 127.31 metres
- Including 3,570 g/t silver over 1.00 metre from a depth of 128.40 metres
- LM-26-442: 222 g/t silver over 9.00 metres from a depth of 119.00 metres
- Including 1,605 g/t silver over 0.50 metres from a depth of 124.35 metres
The Shaft 6 Southeast area was first reported in July, and the latest holes show it continuing south. Disseminated silver is said to flank the veins, which points to broader mineralized envelopes than the narrow vein model that defined historic mining in the camp.
Hole 412 came from the Shaft 6 West zone, while hole 442 was drilled around historic stopes at Shaft 6. Ten holes returned no significant intercepts.
“Drilling at Langis continues to shine, delivering more multi-kilogram silver intercepts,” said chairman and CEO Gary Thompson. “Our high-density drilling strategy is showing results.”
Brixton has completed 39,937.55 metres across 182 holes so far in 2026, working toward a 60,000 metre program for the year. A third rig has been added to push the pace to roughly 9,000 metres a month as the company advances toward a maiden resource estimate.
Langis produced 10.4 million ounces of silver at a head grade of 777.5 g/t between 1908 and 1989, until Agnico Eagle shut the operation amid low silver prices.
Brixton Metals last traded at $0.55 on the TSX Venture.
