Charlotte’s Web Files $350 Million Base Shelf Prospectus

Charlotte’s Web Holdings (TSX: CWEB) this morning announced the filing of a preliminary base shelf prospectus to replace the base shelf currently in effect. The new prospectus is for C$350 million.

The new base shelf prospectus will enable the company to raise funds of up to $350 million through the sale of common shares, preferred shares, warrants, subscription receipts, units, or any combination of such securities over the next 25 months. The filing is being conducted simply as a replacement for the current base shelf that is set to expire May 10, 2021.

Specific terms of any intended offering by the company is to be released at the time of the filing of a prospectus supplement. Details on the use of proceeds will also be released at such time.

Charlotte’s Web Holdings last traded at $5.04 on the TSX.
