Core Assets Corp (CSE: CC) has made a new discovery at its Silver Lime CRD-Porphyry project, which is part of its Blue Property, found in northwestern British Columbia.

“The abundance of elevated surficial polymetallic discoveries at the Silver Lime Project continues to increase rapidly. The surface has barely been scratched at our district scale Blue Property, and our team is continuing to learn more about the geometry of the mineralized plumbing network and the limestone host rocks every day,” commented CEO Nick Rodway.

The target, referred to as the Gally Target, is a carbonate replacement that was initially identified following prospecting work conducted in 2022. The target is found 325 metres to the southeast of the Sulphide City Target, and 485 metres west of the Grizzly CRD Target.

The Gally Target is said to consist of two zones rich in silver-zinc-lead-copper mineralization, with the zones said to be concentrated near contacts between limestone and an extensive dyke.

The first zone, referred to as Zone 1, is said to have a strike of at least 93 metres, with surficial samples assaying 446 g/t silver, 1.25% copper and 23.3% zinc and lead. Zone 2 meanwhile is said to have a current strike length of 50 metres, with samples grading 1,115 g/t silver, 1.09% copper, and 24.4% zinc and lead.

Targeted drill testing is said to be scheduled for the Gally Target in 2023.
