Datametrex Provides Clarity Regarding Air Canada Twitter Comments

Datametrex AI (TSXV: DM) this morning looked to clear up some questions being posed by management following a tweet late in November made by Air Canada (TSX: AC). The company this morning as a result confirmed that they are in fact in the process of completing an agreement related to providing pre-departure COVD-19 screening within Canada.

Specifics were not provided by the company on the matter, with Datametrex electing to state that the PCR-based testing for travellers is proposed to take place in “several large metropolitan centres.” Essentially the tests are to be made available for anyone traveling to a destination that requires negative COVID-19 testing.

The clarififcation from the company follows several questions asked of management in relation to a November 22 tweet by the airline. Within, Air Canada listed Datametrex AI Limited as being a “trusted testing and travel partner” among a total of five partners.

Further details on the partnership are to be provided, including locations and specifics related to the testing, in the future by the company.

Datametrex AI last traded at $0.13 on the TSX Venture.
