Enbridge Inc. (TSX: ENB) announced today its 2022 financial guidance. The announcement is headlined by an EBITDA guidance of $15.0 billion to $15.6 billion next year.

Meanwhile, the firm reiterated its 2021 EBITDA guidance of $13.9 billion to $14.3 billion. In its Q3 2021 financial report, EBITDA for the first nine months is at $10.0 billion.

“This year, we’ve placed $10 billion of growth capital into service, which will generate significant cash flow growth in 2022,” shared Enbridge CEO Al Monaco. “This is also expected to drive our leverage metric to the lower end of our 4.5-5.0x debt-to-EBITDA target range, providing us with additional financial capacity to grow the business.”

The company also relayed that it intends to conduct a share buyback program by the end of the year to repurchase up to $1.5 billion worth of its common shares.

Enbridge last traded at $48.30 on the TSX.
