Endeavour Silver (TSX: EDR) has finally achieved commercial production at their new Terronera mine in Mexico. The declaration was officially made this morning, with the announcement said to be effective as of October 1.
The commercial production designation follows both mining and processing operations consistently exceeding 90% of the nameplate capacity of 2,000 tonnes per day, while achieving 90% of expected metal recoveries.
“Bringing Terronera into commercial production marks a huge milestone for Endeavour Silver and represents a truly transformational moment in our Company’s history,” commented Dan Dickson, CEO of Endeavour.
Guidance for the mine is expected to be released in January 2026, although the company this morning indicated that it expects 360,000 tonnes of ore throughput over the next six months. Grades on that material are expected to average 122 g/t silver and 2.52 gold, with higher grade zones expected to be reached by mid-2026.
A feasibility study previously completed on the project projected Terronera to have a ten year mine life with average annual production of 4.0 million ounces of silver and 38,000 ounces of gold.
Endeavour Silver last traded at $13.34 on the TSX.
