ESGold Concludes ANT Survey At Montauban Project
ESGold Corp (CSE: ESAU) has completed the data collection phase an ambient noise tomography survey at its Montauban Project in Quebec. The study was conducted across an area measuring ten square kilometres in size, which will be used to assist in establishing a three dimensional model for the region.
The survey, which occurred over a thirty day period, will now see the data recovered, processed, and interpreted over the next four weeks to create a model of the subsurface structure. ESGold has employed Caur Technologies’ technical team to interpret the data and establish the model.
The study is expected to create a model of mineralization found at Montauban to depths of up to 800 metres, double the original parameters of the study that called for the survey to go to depths of just 400 metres. Results from the survey are expected to reduce targeting risk, improve the understanding of the gelogy, and provide high priority drill targets for follow-up exploration.
“This is a critical step forward in ESGold’s mission to fully define the mineralized potential at Montauban. We are entering a new phase of discovery powered by cutting-edge imaging tools that will allow us to explore below the limits of historic drilling and uncover the full scope of the Montauban system. Our team is excited and looks forward to sharing results with the market before the end of the month,” commented ESGold President Brad Kitchen.
As part of the next steps, the company has also indicated it is in the process of revising its preliminary economic assessment, which intends to reflect higher gold and silver prices since the initial PEA was released in 2023.
ESGold last traded at $0.325 on the CSE.
