ESGold Corp (CSE: ESAU) has continued to see construction proceed at their Montauban Project in Quebec. The firm this morning issued a brief update on the status of construction as the gold junior works to obtain the status of producer.
Construction is said to be steadily advancing on site, with the Humphrey Spirals now installed. The Spirals are a key component to the gravity separation circuit, which will be utilized to process historical tailings to recover gold, silver, and mica concentrate. The equipment is said to support the processing of up to 1,000 tonnes per day.
Spiral circuit concentrate testing is now ongoing, with material having already been sent to the lab for detailed analysis. The test program is designed to confirm metallurgical assumptions to ensure recovery is optimized and to accelerate the first gold and silver pours.

“We’re nearing a convergence of data, construction, and strategic milestones that will begin to show just how real and repeatable our model is. The team is energized, execution is on track, and we’re proud to be turning vision into reality at Montauban,” commented Paul Mastantuono, CEO of ESGold.
