Exploits Discovery Bolsters Board, Advisory Team With New Appointments
Exploits Discovery Corp (CSE: NFLD) this morning announced significant additions to its advisory board and board of directors. The board of directors has seen the addition of two highly experienced individuals, while the advisory board and management team have each seen a significant addition as well.

Starting with the board of directors, the company has appointed William R. Sheriff, as well as Larry Short to the board. Sheriff is a highly experienced industry veteran, with experience with a number of different metals and resources. Most notably he was co-founder and chairman of Energy Metals Corp, a uranium exploration firm that was acquired for $1.8 billion by Uranium One Corp. He has also served in director roles for enCore Energy Corp, Golden Predator Mining Corp, Ely Gold Corp and Group 11 Technologies, among others.
Larry short meanwhile is a highly experienced capital markets professional with a career spanning over 32 years. He is currently a portfolio manager with ShortFinancial, Industrial Alliance. He’s also an experienced author, having published two books, while he has also previously held the title of Vice President at RBC Dominion Securities and TD Waterhouse.
Moving to the advisory board for Exploits, Gary Lewis is the latest addition to the team. He comes with a high pedigree of experience within the Newfoundland resource sector, having spent over 35 years in the region focused on exploration. He has been described as a driving force behind exploration within the Exploits subzone since 2000, while also being a founding member of the team that discovered the world class rare earth metals district in Labrador in 2008. More recently, he was responsible for introducing the founders of New Found Gold to the district in which they currently operate.
Finally, Ian Herbranson has been appointed to the executive team in the role of Vice President of Exploration. Having most recently served as a project geologist for Balmoral Resources prior to the acquisition by Wallbridge Mining, Herbranson was a part of the Reaper discovery in April 2020 in the Fenelon region. Prior to Balmoral, he spent his time at Goldcorp and Newmont Gold, as well as Teck Resources among others.
To make way for the two incoming directors, CFO Justin Bourassa resigned from his position on the board but will remain with the company in the capacity of chief financial officer. Fred Tejada has also resigned from the board, whom will continue to work with the firm on a consultancy basis.
