Exploits Discovery Initiates Massive Soil Sampling Program At Dog Bay And True Grit Properties

Exploits Discovery Corp (CSE: NFLD) this morning announced that it has begun what it refers to as a district scale soil sampling program. The program is to be conducted at both its Dog Bay and True Grit gold properties located within the Exploits subzone of Newfoundland.

The district scale program is to utilize spatiotemporal geochemical hydrocarbon (SGH) soil sampling methods, with the program to in total collect an estimate 3,000 samples at sites across the two properties. The program is intended to assist in outlining high priority targets for future drilling.

At the Dog Bay project, Exploits will collect 2,000 samples along four kilometres of strike that follows the Appleton Fault Zone, the same fault where New Found Gold has discovered mineralization such as 22.3 g/t gold over 41.35 metres. The program is to be conducted along disrupted magnetic high ridges that has outcrop containing assays up to 25.12 g/t gold.

The True Grit project meanwhile will see 1,000 samples conducted on the property, in the region where intercepts of up to 117 metres of 0.60 g/t gold has previously been found. The program is focused on identifying higher grade zones and surficial expression of the known mineralized zones on the property.

Data from the samples collected is then to be combined with Goldspot AI’s data to provide enhanced insights for the mineralization targeting model.

“Exploits Discovery Corp. is excited to execute the largest SGH soil programs ever conducted in the Exploits Subzone. Recent success with SGH soil sampling in glacial till covered areas, such as Great Bear Resources delineation of LP Fault Zone in Red Lake, and with the glaciation history of Newfoundland, SGH samples will give us insight as to what is occurring at bed rock underneath the till cover to aid in developing our target portfolio towards discovery.”

Michael Collins, CEO

Exploits Discovery Corp last traded at $0.60 on the CSE.
