Filo Mining Intersects 0.91% Copper Equivalent Over 1,251.5 Metres At Filo del Sol

Filo Mining Corp. (TSX: FIL) announced on Tuesday highlight drill results from its Filo del Sol project. The drill hole assayed a wide intersection of 0.91% copper equivalent over 1,251.5 metres.

“Hole 58 continues our success in defining continuity of strong mineralization within the Aurora zone of the deposit, and we are confident that there will be many more holes like this to come,” said CEO Jamie Beck.

The assay highlights include:

  • FSDH058: 0.91% copper equivalent (0.56% copper, 0.41 g/t gold, 6.6 g/t silver) over 1251.5 metres, including
    • 1.40% copper equivalent (0.87% copper, 0.62 g/t gold, 8.2 g/t silver) over 310.0 metres
  • FSDH056: 0.89% copper equivalent (0.50% copper, 0.40 g/t gold, 11.4 g/t silver) over 502.2 metres.

The drilling program is currently ongoing with 7 diamond drill rigs, designed to explore the area around the high-grade intersection in FSDH041 drilled in the last season.

The firm reported in February 2022 that BHP Group (NYSE: BHP) is taking a 5% stake in the company for $100 million.

Filo Mining Corp. last traded at $23.88 on the TSX.
