FireFox Gold Intersects 93.88 g/t Gold Over 1.35 Metres

FireFox Gold Corp. (TSXV: FFOX) today reported the completion of its 11 hole diamond drill program, which consisted of 2,364 metres at its Mustajärvi Project in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt of Finland. Assay results for the first three holes conducted under the program were released this morning.

Highlights from drilling include:

  • Hole 21MJ001: 93.88 g/t gold over a 1.35 meter interval, including 129.5 g/t gold over 0.65 meters.
  • Hole 21MJ002: 13.27 g/t gold over a 1 meter interval.

High-grade intervals were encountered near-surface in both of the first two holes of the drilling program, resulting in 150 meters of being added to strike to the northeast. This additional veining occurs at depths of under 200 meters below surface and remains open down dip and to the northeast.

The third and final hole released this morning, 21MJ003, did not intersect significant mineralization.

True widths are yet to be confirmed with additional drilling and geological modeling planned.

FireFox Gold Corp. last traded on the TSX Venture at $0.35
