Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT) has released a new round of assays from its 2026 drill program at the Surebet discovery. Highlight results from the latest round of results includes 9.89 g/t gold equivalent over 12.00 metres from the Surebet Zone.
That intercept, from hole GD-26-483, came from a sulphide-rich quartz breccia with abundant visible gold. The batch also returned mineralization from each of the major zones on the company’s Golddigger property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle.
Highlights from the release include:
- GD-26-483: 9.89 g/t gold equivalent (7.90 g/t gold, 138.61 g/t silver, 0.34% copper, 0.22% lead and 1.16% zinc) over 12.00 metres from a depth of 265.00 metres
- Including 28.81 g/t gold equivalent over 4.00 metres
- GD-26-474: 9.74 g/t gold equivalent (9.47 g/t gold, 50.18 g/t silver, 0.03% copper, 0.71% lead and 0.77% zinc) over 6.23 metres from a depth of 281.37 metres
- GD-26-485: 8.71 g/t gold equivalent (8.46 g/t gold, 36.19 g/t silver, 0.06% copper, 0.35% lead and 1.15% zinc) over 3.80 metres from a depth of 649.20 metres
- GD-26-431: 4.21 g/t gold equivalent (4.53 g/t gold, 1.48 g/t silver, 0.01% copper, 0.01% lead and 0.03% zinc) over 7.90 metres from a depth of 233.00 metres
- GD-26-467: 2.65 g/t gold equivalent (2.75 g/t gold, 4.90 g/t silver, 0.01% copper, 0.04% lead and 0.16% zinc) over 11.72 metres from a depth of 406.10 metres
- GD-26-440: 0.70 g/t gold equivalent (0.66 g/t gold, 3.85 g/t silver, 0.01% copper, 0.02% lead and 0.10% zinc) over 24.97 metres from a depth of 402.13 metres
Hole GD-26-440 notably tested the Big Bulk Zone, a newly defined band of stacked veinlets between the Bonanza and Golden Gate zones. That zone has seen its central core measure 310 metres long, 500 metres across and 110 metres vertically. Goliath considers it potentially suited to bulk mining.

The 2026 season wrapped in September after 48,443 metres of drilling across 97 holes, with every hole intersecting quartz-sulphide mineralization. Step-out drilling expanded the Bonanza Zone to 1.51 square kilometres and the Golden Gate Zone to 1.17 square kilometres. Together, that growth lifted the overall Surebet footprint 12% to 2.01 square kilometres.
“Our 2026 drill program, with up to 750 meters of expansion through step out holes, demonstrates rare structural predictability, proving the mineralization remains coherent throughout,” said founder and CEO Roger Rosmus.
Assays are still pending for 55 holes. Goliath plans to use the complete dataset to update its models before designing the 2027 program.
Goliath Resources last traded at $1.45 on the TSX Venture.
