Goliath Resources Hits 34.47 g/t Gold Over 39 Metres At Golddigger
Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT) this morning released the results from a further five drill holes conducted at its Golddigger property. The results come from its 2024 field season, with the firm this morning releasing the highest grade intersects made to date at the Surebets discovery.
Highlights from the results include:
- GD-24-260: 39.00 metres of 34.47 g/t gold, 3.96 g/t silver (34.52 g/t gold equivalent) from a depth of 517 metres within the Bonanza zone
- And 6.35 metres of 2.89 g/t, 5.46 g/t silver (2.96 g/t gold equivalent) from a depth of 434.00 metres within the Surebet zone
- GD-24-275: 11.0 metres of 11.70 g/t gold, 25.66 g/t silver (12.01 g/t gold equivalent) from a depth of 428.0 metres within the Bonanza zone
- GD-24-242: 14.00 metres of 4.03 g/t gold, 7.22 g/t silver (4.12 g/t gold equivalent) from a depth of 328.0 metres within the Surebet zone
- And 4.11 metres of 5.26 g/t gold, 24.61 g/t silver (5.56 g/t gold equivalent) from a depth of 582.0 metres within the Golden Gate zone
The strong results have grown the footprint of the Bonanza high grade gold zone, which has expanded from an area measuring 180,000 square metres to an area measuring 341,000 square metres, which remains wide open.
“Drill intercepts from the Bonanza Shear Zone continue to generate remarkable gold values that strongly indicate this important structural zone is a likely feeder to the overall Surebet gold system. Not only are exceptional gold grades present, but the Bonanza lode, a relatively flat-oriented structure, displays robust thicknesses. Given the numerous drill intercepts that have penetrated this lode to date, it is clearly expansive, too, measuring at least 800 meters along strike and 600 meters down dip,” commented Quinton Hennigh, technical advisor to Goliath.
Drill results remain outstanding for 89 of the 105 holes conducted under the 2024 program.
Goliath Resources last traded at $1.18 on the TSX Venture.
