Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT) is still looking for the edges of its Surebet discovery, and the latest assays from the Bonanza Zone suggest they are further out than expected.
The company reported results from three holes on Friday, all drilled at its Golddigger property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. Every one of them contained visible gold.
Highlights include:
- GD-26-431: 9.12 g/t gold equivalent over 11.27 metres from a depth of 374.20 metres, including 13.89 g/t gold equivalent over 7.14 metres
- And 4.70 g/t gold equivalent over 3.03 metres from a depth of 401.09 metres
- GD-26-442: 8.35 g/t gold equivalent over 4.15 metres from a depth of 529.00 metres, including 31.42 g/t gold equivalent over 1.00 metre
- GD-26-426: 2.93 g/t gold equivalent over 7.00 metres from a depth of 585.00 metres, including 5.07 g/t gold equivalent over 3.91 metres
Hole 431 is the standout. It cut the Bonanza Zone along the western fringe of the system, where stockwork and breccia veins carried visible gold alongside galena and sphalerite. A 1.03 metre stretch within that interval ran 74.66 g/t gold equivalent. Holes 442 and 426 tested 100-metre step-outs to the north and north-northwest, and both hit mineralization.

“We wanted to put the Surebet to test this year to see if we could get near the edges of the system, instead of finding the edges, the system is widening,” said founder and CEO Roger Rosmus. “The footprint of high-grade with visible gold just keeps getting larger which is rare to see.”

The 2026 program has already grown the Bonanza Zone to 1.51 square kilometres from 1.27, while the Golden Gate Zone has expanded to 1.17 square kilometres from 0.85. Earlier this week, Golden Gate hole GD-26-478 returned 13.81 g/t gold over 4.85 metres.
Visible gold has been logged in 52 of the first 92 holes drilled this year.
The fully funded program calls for roughly 50,000 metres of drilling. Of the 97 holes completed so far, only a handful have had full gold-equivalent results released. Most of the assays are still pending.
Goliath Resources last traded at $1.55 on the TSX Venture.
