Great Bear Intersects 2.24 g/t Gold Over 77.40 Metres In Latest LP Fault Results

Great Bear Resources (TSXV: GBR) this morning reported further drill results from the LP Fault, where it continues to drill out the property in advance of its maiden resource estimate. Results released this morning focused on both high-grade and bulk mineralization results made by the company as of late.

The highlgiht hole released by the company this morning is BR-315, which has reportedly intersected 400 g/t gold over 0.50 metres, with mineralization being within high-grade domain BR4. Bulk tonnage mineralization was also intersected in this hole, with the hole assaying 2.24 g/t gold over 77.40 metres within a separate section.

Additional results released include:

  • BR-309: 0.85 g/t gold over 23.00 metres, 0.50 g/t gold over 31.00 metres, 0.57 g/t gold over 26.90 metres
  • BR-306: 1.08 g/t gold over 106.70 metres
  • BR-304: 0.73 g/t gold over 74.35 metres

The company also indicated this morning that it intends to conduct follow up drilling on reconnaissance holes that were conducted elsewhere along the LP fault. This is in addition to the company continuing to drill the central portion of the fault, where it intends to have 400 holes completed by year end for the initial maiden resource estimate of the property.

Great Bear Resources last traded at $14.88 on the TSX.
