IsoEnergy, Purepoint Intersect 8.13% U3O8 Over 0.4 Metres At Dorado JV

More high grade uranium has been discovered in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. IsoEnergy (TSX: ISO) and Purepoint Uranium (TSXV: PTU) this morning released partial assay results from a summer drill program conducted at their Dorado 50/50 joint venture, indicating that high grade uranium had been intersected.

Highlights from the results include:

  • PG25-07A: 1.62% U3O8 over 2.1 metres from a depth of 384.3 metres
    • Including 8.13% U3O8 over 0.4 metres from a depth of 386.0 metres
    • AND 0.52% U3O8 over 4.9 metres from a depth of 391.8 metres
    • Including 2.92% U3O8 over 0.4 metres from a depth of 394.5 metres

Select samples from hole PG25-07A at the Nova Discovery are said to have been selected for fast-tracking to confirm grade and mineral composition, while full assay results from all holes remain outstanding. The drill program saw a total of 5,030 metres drilled across a total of 11 holes, which is just short of the 5,400 metres that were planned for drilling. However, wildfires in the region ended the program early.

“These assays reinforce the strength of this newly discovered system and provide a solid anchor point as we continue to test the mineralized structure in all directions,” commented Chris Frostad, CEO of Purepoint on the results.

Follow up drilling is currently in the process of being planned for early 2026, pending the final assay results from the 2025 program and their geological interpretation. Purepoint also noted that the program planned for the Celeste project was deferred until next year as a result of ongoing wildfire risk.

IsoEnergy last traded at $12.29 on the TSX.
