Medipharm Labs Finally Appoints Replacement CFO
Medipharm Labs (TSX: LABS) this morning finally appointed a new chief financial officer, more than two months after the announced departure of former CFO Bobby Kwon. The company will see Greg Hunter take on the role, effective February 8, 2021.
Hunter most recently served as CFO of Medical Pharmacies Group Ltd, a pharmacy and medical equipment manufacturer in Canada. Prior to that, he held several senior management roles with Baxter International, including the role of CFO for the firms Canadian subsidiary.
In terms of education, Hunter holds an MBA from McMaster University, as well as an Honors B.Sc. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Western Ontario, while also being a CPA.
The company has yet to find a permanent replacement for the role of CEO, following the departure of Pat McCutcheon from the position in December 2020, following poor financial results released two weeks prior. President Keith Strachan is currently filling that role on an interim basis.
Medipharm Labs last traded at $0.63 on the TSX.
