Nine Mile Metals Hits 3.07% Copper Over 10.4 Metres

Nine Mile Metals (CSE: NINE) this morning released the results of another drill hole conducted at its flagship property. The property, referred to as the Nine Mile Brook VMS project, is found in New Brunswick within the Bathurst Mining Camp.

The results released this morning come from hole NM220006, and marks the latest in a string of single-assay news releases put out by the company in recent weeks. Highlights include:

  • NM220006: 10.4 metres of 3.07% copper, 7.35% zinc, 4.78% lead, 175.28 g/t silver and 1.69 g/t gold

“I am very pleased to see numerous assay intervals greater than 20% combined Pb/Zn in addition to exceptional Ag and Au values. The geophysical team has arrived on site and will commence the Borehole Electro-Magnetic (BHEM) survey today,” commented lead geologic Gary Lohman.

The drill hole data follows other recent drilling assays released by the company, including:

  • NM20003: 10.45 metres of 6.92% copper, 5.60% zinc, 2.52% lead, 179.28 g/t silver and 1.33 g/t gold
  • NM20004: 15.10 metres of 10.12% copper, 1.00% zinc, 1.41% lead, 91.47 g/t silver and 0.84 g/t gold
  • NM20005: 11.00 metres of 9.69% copper, 11.93% zinc, 2.90% lead, 283.31 g/t silver and 1.65 g/t gold

Drilling under the phase 1 program is said to be complete as of the end of May, with seven holes completed in total. Five holes were target drill holes, while two are borehole EM drill holes. Results from the remaining target drill hole is yet to be released.
