NIO Delivers 6,131 Electric Vehicles In February 2022

NIO Inc. (NYSE: NIO) reported today that it has delivered a total of 6,131 electric vehicles during the month of February 2022. This is lower than January 2022’s deliveries of 9,652 vehicles but a 9.9% increase year-on-year.

The deliveries for the month put the company’s running 2022 total deliveries at 15,783 vehicles, a 23.3% year-on-year increase.

Breaking this down, the monthly figure comprises 1,084 six or seven-seater flagship electric SUV ES8s, 3,309 five-seater electric SUV ES6s, and 1,738 five-seater electric coupe SUV EC6s.

The dip in the month-over-month deliveries might be attributed to a production suspension from January 31 to February 6 due to the Spring Festival holiday. But the automaker said it “adjusted the production lines to prepare for the delivery of ET7 in March 2022.”

In January 2022, the firm reported a total of 25,034 electric vehicle deliveries during Q4 2021, a marginal increase from Q3 2021’s 24,439 vehicles.

NIO Inc. last traded at US$22.87 on the NYSE.
