NIO Delivers 25,034 Electric Vehicles In Q4 2021

NIO Inc. (NYSE: NIO) reported today that it has delivered a total of 25,034 electric vehicles in the three months ended December 2021. This is marginally higher than the deliveries in Q3 2021 of 24,439 vehicles.

The Q4 deliveries put the company’s 2021 total deliveries at 91,429 vehicles, a 109.1% year-on-year increase.

The automaker was able to deliver 10,489 vehicles globally in December 2021 alone. Breaking this down, the monthly figure comprises 2,782 six or seven-seater flagship electric SUV ES8s, 4,939 five-seater electric SUV ES6s, and 2,768 five-seater electric coupe SUV EC6s.

The Chinese maker also held a “NIO Day” on December 18, 2021, to launch mid-sized smart electric sedan ET5, with expected deliveries starting in September 2022. Meanwhile, its flagship smart electric sedan ET7 is expected to start deliveries in March 2022.

In November 2021, the firm raised a total of US$2 billion in its at-the-market offering of American depositary shares.

NIO Inc. last traded at US$31.68 on the NYSE.
