Patriot Battery Metals Expands CV5 Strike Length To 4.4 Kilometres

Patriot Battery Metals (TSX: PMET) is reporting further strike extensions to its CV5 spodumene pegmatite at its flagship Corvette property following further drill results.

The strike length of the pegmatite has now been measured to a length of 4.4 kilometres, with the latest drill results adding 0.2 kilometres to the total length. Strike is said to still remain open to expansion at both ends, as well as to depth, with three kilometres of prospective trend still existing between CV5 and the CV13 pegmatite.

A total of twelve holes saw assays released as part of the latest results. Highlights from the latest results include:

  • CV23-236: 34.2 metres of 1.06% Li2O
  • CV23-243: 27.7 metres of 1.20 Li2O
  • CV23-246: 89.5 metres of 1.01% Li2O, 17.9 metres of 1.31% Li2O, 19.0 metres of 2.56% Li2O
  • CV23-251: 37.2 metres of 1.02% Li2O
  • CV23-259: 10.2 metres of 1.47% Li2O

Notably, Patriot highlighted that it had “limited” success drilling CV5 to the east, where it was testing ground outside of the resource block model. The current model suggests that mineralization might plunge in this area, while flaring to surface and remaining open along strike and to depth.
