Power Nickel Intercepts 32 Metres of 0.60% Nickel

The final drill results are in for the most recent exploration program conducted at the Nisk nickel-copper project operated by Power Nickel (TSXV: PNPN). Results from a total of eight holes were released this morning.

The results come from drilling that was conducted both east and west of the Main Nisk deposit, while several holes were conducted on the Nisk Main deposit as well. Highlights from the results include:

  • PN-23-033: 0.71% nickel, 0.37% copper, 0.85 g/t palladium over 10.05 metres
  • PN-23-034A: 0.49% nickel, 0.13% copper, 0.46 g/t palladium over 8.08 metres
  • PN-23-035: 0.60% nickel, 0.39% copper, 0.50 g/t palladium and 0.11 g/t platinum over 31.86 metres
    • Including 1.18% nickel, 0.80% copper, 1.14 g/t palladium and 0.28 g/t platinum over 8.82 metres

“Another strong result from our Nisk main deposit, these holes will be valuable additions to the resource calculation. This concludes an amazing drill season for us at Nisk,” commented CEO Terry Lynch.

The company intends to use the data from the 15,000 metres of drilling conducted during the season to assemble an initial mineral resource estimate, which is expected to be completed late next quarter.

With the completion of the program, the company is now setting up to conduct an ambient noise tomography survey, the results of which will assist in identifying the next targets at Nisk. The company is also set to begin a new drill program in July, which will see 15,000 metres of further drilling conducted.
