Predictiv AI Partners With Sigfox For Global Sales & Distribution of ThermalPass

Predictive AI (TSXV: PAI), whom was formerly known as Internet of Things Inc, announced this morning that it has entered into a sales channel, distribution and technology integration partnership for Predictiv’s ThermalPass fever detection system with that of Sigfox Canada. Sigfox is the leading global service provider of internet of things (IoT) technology.

The arrangement between Sigfox and Predictiv will see ThermalPass integrated into the Sigfox 0G network, enabling the devices to conduct highly dependable data transfer through ThermalPass device. Such integrations will enable Predictiv to generate monthly recurring revenues through the technology by offering different enterprise scenarios.

The Sigfox global 0G network enables millions of internet-enabled devices to connect to the internet in a straightforward manner while limiting energy consumption. The network is currently available in 72 countries, with the chipsets currently used in over 16.2 million devices. The Sigfox network is the largest IoT network globally, with devices from massive manufacturers to local startups being involved within the network.

In addition to network connectivity, the partnership will see Sigfox become a global, non-exclusive distributor of ThermalPass. The company is expected to offer the device to other Sigfox operators across its vast global network.

"The Sigfox Canada sales and distribution channels increase ThermalPass’ revenue potential significantly, not only due their diverse and expansive customer base, but also because Sigfox connectivity technology positions ThermalPass to launch and expand its services and build a monthly recurring revenue model. We are very excited to partner with Sigfox Canada so we can provide a more robust and flexible fever detection device which will help more customers, around the world, combat the spread of coronavirus."
Michael Lende, CEO

Commercial launch of ThermalPass is said to be “soon approaching,” with the company continuing to work with Makel Engineering for the final completion of the device. Recent performance tests conducted on the latest version of the device have confirmed reliability and consistency of the system, making way for the installation of the device at high traffic locations, such as schools, offices, transit stations, government buildings and more.

Predictiv AI last traded at $0.26 on the TSX Venture.
