Qyou Media Signs Exclusive Content Arrangements With Four Popular Series

QYOU Media (TSXV: QYOU) this morning announced that it has entered into new exclusive programming deals. The exclusive arrangements for content are reportedly with several leading social video creators and stars within India.

The exclusive arrangements are expected to drive continue momentum for ratings and revenue growth for The Q India, with the deal expected to improve the quality of content offered by the channel. New exclsuive content coming to The Q includes BakLol, which has over 2.5 billion views online and will be the highest rated comedy program in the history of the channel, as well as PagalPanti, a comedy series that has created one of the largest social media stars in India.

An update on the firms BARC ratings were also provided, with the company currently maintaining an average of 45 GRP over the last six consecutive weeks. The ratings growth has established The Q as one of the fastest growing channels in the nation, and puts the firm in the mainstream among channels owned by major media conglomerates such as Viacom, Sony, and Disney among others.
