Braden Peters, better known online as Clavicular, is facing rape charges in Massachusetts. Court records, first reported by The Bulwark, show three counts against him — rape, drugging someone for sexual intercourse, and providing alcohol to a person under 21.
The filing came September 8 from prosecutors working out of a Cape Cod courthouse, and it points to an alleged incident from May 23, 2025. He’s due in court for arraignment October 14. As of Monday night, per NBC News, no attorney had entered an appearance on his behalf in the court file.
His representative, Mitchell Jackson, disputed how outlets have characterized the case. “Braden Peters has not been physically served,” Jackson said in a text message Monday night. “As usual the Bulwark is exaggerating.”

Peters downplayed the charges and claimed that the victim was using the “lawsuit” to get his attention “in anyway [sic] possible.”
A Florida civil suit was also brought against Peters back in April, in which an 18-year-old accuser alleges battery, fraud and sexual misconduct. The two cases’ timelines appear to overlap, though it hasn’t been confirmed whether they involve the same incident.
Peters built his following on TikTok and Kick promoting “looksmaxxing,” a trend focused on extreme, sometimes risky methods for changing one’s looks, and now charges subscribers for a self-help program branded under the Clavicular name.
