Silver Storm Begins Rehab Of La Parrilla Mine Complex

Silver Storm Mining (TSXV: SVRS) is working to complete rehabilitation of their La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex in Mexico. The company this morning indicated that the program has officially begun, with the engineering contractor now engaged and mobilized.

The rehabilitation effort, which is expected to take between seven and nine months, is being undertaken as part of a larger restart plan for the La Parrilla complex.

As part of the program, the sulphide circuit at the processing plant is expected to be expanded by 25% to 1,250 tonnes per day, with long lead items already on order. Delivery of the items is expected by December. Refurbishment is also planned across site facilities, including living quarters and office areas.

The program also includes work at the underground mine, with initial activities said to include drift cleaning, scaling, ventilation upgrades, and the recommissioning of underground activity.

“With the existing infrastructure in place and recent financings completed, we are taking decisive steps in respect of the Company’s objective of bringing the historic La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex back into production and creating value for our shareholders and the communities of Durango. Rehabilitation and preparation activities will take seven to nine months, and subject to further technical evaluations, we could target the potential restart of operations as early as the second quarter of 2026,” commented Greg McKenzie, CEO of Silver Storm.

Silver Storm Mining last traded at $0.22 on the TSX Venture.
