Sitka Gold (TSXV: SIG) continues to see success with the drill bit, with the company reporting further assay results from a now completed drill program at their RC Gold Project in the Yukon. To date, sixteen of the seventeen holes conducted under the program are said to have intersected greater than 100 grammeters of gold mineralization.
Highlights from the latest results include:
- DDRCRG-25-011: 1.02 g/t gold over 67.0 metres from a depth of 130.0 metres
- DDRCRG-25-012: 1.00 g/t gold over 50.0 metres from a depth of 272.0 metres
- DDRCRG-25-014: 1.01 g/t gold over 107.9 metres from a depth of 11.0 metres
- Including 1.41 g/t gold over 37.9 metres
- DDRCRG-25-015: 1.03 g/t gold over 37.0 metres from a depth of 48.0 metres
- DDRCRG-25-016: 1.03 g/t gold over 67.5 metres from a depth of 90.5 metres
- DDRCRG-25-017: 0.61 g/t gold over 297.0 metres from a depth of 10.9 metres
- Including 2.20 g/t gold over 28.5 metres
All of the drill holes reported were conducted at the Rhosgobel intrusion target, where drilling has now traced mineralization over a strike length of 1.1 kilometres within a 2.0 kilometre by 1.5 kilometre surface signature. Mineralization here is said to begin at surface, with mineralization said to have been associated with a reduced intrusion related gold system.
The now completed 2025 drill program saw a total of 91 drill holes completed across 31,841 metres in aggregate. 43 holes were conducted at Rhosgobel, 26 were completed at Blackjack/Saddle, 10 at Eiger, 6 at Contact Zone, 3 at Pukelman, 2 at May-Qu and one at the Bear Paw Breccia Zone. Assays remain outstanding for a total of 55 holes from the program.

“With visible gold observed in sheeted quartz veining across the entire 1.1 kilometre strike drilled this year and assays now confirming gold mineralization over 575 metres of strike, Rhosgobel is rapidly emerging as a significant new gold discovery within our RC Gold Project. The fact that 16 of the first 17 holes have returned intersections exceeding 100 gram-metres of gold further underscores both the scale and consistency of this system. We eagerly await results from the remaining 26 holes completed at Rhosgobel as we continue to define the size and potential of this exciting new gold zone,” commented Cor Coe, CEO of Sitka Gold.
Sitka Gold last traded at $1.12 on the TSX Venture.
