Sitka Gold (TSXV: SIG) has continued to hit large intersects of gold mineralization at their flagship RC Gold project in Canada’s Yukon. An ongoing 30,000 metre drill campaign has again seen positive assay results released, with the latest results coming from the Saddle zone.
Multiple intersections of near surface gold mineralization have been made at the Saddle zone, which is found between the Blackjack and Eiger deposits. The latest results are from within the proposed pit boundary of Blackjack, but are 300 metres to the east of the current resource outline.
Highlights from the results include:
- DDRCCC-25-081: 0.96 g/t gold over 42.0 metres from a depth of 102.0 metres
- Including 1.81 g/t gold over 19.5 metres
- DDRCCC-25-084: 0.92 g/t gold over 11.1 metres from a depth of 1.5 metres
- And 1.36 g/t gold over 24.0 metres from a depth of 85.0 metres
- DDRCCC-25-087: 1.00 g/t gold over 18.0 metres from a depth of 3.0 metres
- And 2.09 g/t gold over 47.6 metres from a depth of 33.5 metres
“Results of up to 47.6 metres of 2.09 grams per tonne gold, including 14.0 metres of 3.78 grams per tonne gold, demonstrates the potential of this area to add significant ounces to our existing gold resources and further supports the possibility that the Saddle Zone could link gold mineralization between the Blackjack and Eiger gold deposits,” commented Sitka Gold CEO Cor Coe.

11 drill holes have been completed to date in 2025 at the Saddle zone, for a total of 2,918 metres. All holes are said to have intersected a megacrystic quartz monzonite sill which strikes west-north-west and dips to the north, which has an estimated true width of 10 to 15 metres and has been identified for 350 metres along strike. Mineralization was intersected within this sill, and extends to the adjacent sedimentary rocks.
Elsewhere on site, 14 drill holes have been conducted at Blackjack for a total of 7,405 metres under the current program, while 10 have been conducted at Eiger for a total of 4,417 metres.
Sitka Gold last traded at $0.60 on the TSX Venture.
